We are cracking on through France. Tonight we are in a small aire just north of Dreux, well over halfway to Calais with just three more full days travelling to do. We are doing about 180kms per day on mixed roads. One problem has been finding fresh water because about half of the water points we have tried have been dry and turned off for the winter. We are now in full travelling mode. The pressure is on to get home fairly quickly. The Covid-19 crisis is growing fast and more and more cases are appearing in Europe. There is a cluster of cases in Northern Italy and a number of towns in Lombardy have been locked down with no-one allowed to leave. A perfect Bertie day today. We slept well and had a lazy start. It was a bit chilly so decided on porridge to warm us up. Once breakfast was out the way and washed up (ie around 11am!) it was off to the vineyard shop to thank them for their hospitality and to see what they had to sell. Really nice lady behind the counter who said we were very welcome and could stay two nights if we wished. When
